ui-styles Licence Agreement
Version 1.0 · Effective 25 October 2026 · Licensor: David Peluola ("we", "us"), trading at ui.dpeluola.com
This agreement covers the ui-styles product: the style packs, shared guides, scripts, installer, gallery and any updates we deliver to you ("the Product"). By purchasing, activating a licence key, or using the Product you agree to it.
1. What you get
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use the Product according to the tier you bought:
| tier | who may use it | where |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | one named individual | unlimited projects, personal or commercial, including client work |
| Team | up to the number of seats on your invoice (default 5), all employees/contractors of one organisation | unlimited projects, personal or commercial, including client work |
| Free | anyone | the free packs only; same permissions and restrictions as Personal |
A seat is one person. Seats may be reassigned when someone leaves your team.
2. What you may do
- Install the Product on any number of your own machines and in any number of your own repositories (within your seat count).
- Use it with any AI coding tool, editor or workflow.
- Build websites, apps and other software with it for yourself, your employer or your clients, and charge for that work.
- Modify the packs for your own use (add tokens, change copy, fork a style).
- Keep using the version you have forever, even if you stop receiving updates.
Everything you build with the Product is yours. We claim no rights over your output, your clients' sites, or your code.
3. What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lend or publish the Product or any substantial part of it (the pack files, shared guides, scripts or gallery) — modified or not — including as part of a template, theme, boilerplate, course, "skill pack", prompt library, or any product where the packs themselves are what the buyer receives.
- Share your licence key or let people outside your seat count use it.
- Remove copyright or licence notices from the files.
- Use the Product to build a competing catalogue of UI style packs.
- Train or fine-tune a machine-learning model on the Product's files.
If you're unsure whether something is allowed, email us; we say yes to most reasonable requests.
4. Updates and support
Personal and Team licences include every update to the version line you bought (1.x) for at least 12 months from purchase, delivered through the installer. After that you keep what you have; continued updates may need a renewal. Support is by email on a best-effort basis; there is no guaranteed response time.
5. Refunds
If you have not activated your licence key, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Once a key has been activated (the Product has been downloaded through it), the purchase is final, because the Product is a digital good that cannot be returned. Where consumer law in your country gives you additional rights, those rights apply.
6. Ownership
The Product is protected by copyright and is licensed, not sold. We (or our licensors) own it. Third-party components referenced by the Product (fonts, open-source libraries) are governed by their own licences; the Product does not include or relicense them. Style and pattern names are descriptive; the Product does not include or imitate any third party's logos, brand assets or trademarks.
7. No warranty — and what we do and don't claim
The Product is provided "as is". We make no warranty that it is error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Specifically: the Product's style packs are checked against a published quality rubric (token contrast, specified focus / disabled / loading / empty / error states, reduced-motion rules, mobile rules). That is a check on the specification, not on your finished site. We do not warrant that anything you build will meet WCAG, Core Web Vitals, or any other standard; that depends on how you build it. Any statement we publish about accessibility or performance refers only to the checks described in the Product's own audit documents.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the Product in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential or lost-profit damages.
9. Termination
If you breach section 3 we may terminate your licence after notice and a reasonable chance to fix it (where fixing it is possible). On termination you must stop using the Product and delete your copies, except that websites and software you have already built with it are unaffected.
10. Changes to this agreement
We may update this agreement for future purchases. The version in force when you bought applies to your purchase; we will not reduce your rights retroactively.
11. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nothing in it limits consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
